Bhawal Rajbari |
Rajbari is a historical place in Gazipur that I visited when I was lived in Jaydebpur. I was born in here. This is my birth land. Maybe I was 7th or 8th years old when I visited this historical place. I do not remember all of the things about this historical place because I was very younger at that time. This was the largest Zamindari estate in Bengal. Choira Meah Bari was the most famous capital of the Bhawal Estate. Bhawal Estate belonged to Gazis of Bhawal before the Mughal conquest. Fazal Gazi was known as the 1st Gazi. He was lived there and one of the Baro-Bhuyans. Also, he was 12th zamindars of Bengal. The Rajas of Bhawal came from the village of Bajrayogini, Munshiganj. The Rajbari has 579 square miles area and it covers 2,274 villages, where 500,000 peoples were lived. 350 rooms are available in the Rajbari. It is located in the Joydebpur of Gazipur district, Bangladesh and the GPS coordinate of the Bhawal Rajbari is (24° 0'4.16"N, 90°25'31.71"E). Right now it has been occupied by the government. Overall I like this place very much. This is one of the historical places in Bangladesh. I will visit this place again if possible.
